The life and times of Doug, Kelly and Finn

Hello from Guaynabo!

CoquiAfter our time in Manhattan, Kelly and I flew to Puerto Rico on May 19th. I am sure many folks, both on stateside and on the island, are just itching to hear my view of life on the island. I return to Las Vegas on Thursday, June 02. Once there, I will write a more detailed account of my first 13 days in Puerto Rico. For the moment, let me just say that I love Puerto Rico. From the climate to the coquis (omnipresent little treefrogs), PR is a wonderful place.

We’ve not done much of the touristy things. The primary objective of this trip has been to spend time with Kelly’s family and friends, so we can all get to know one another a little better. And, this is just what we’ve done! As with other visits with the immediate and extended Garity/Medina family, I’ve been received with open arms and cannot fully express how much that means to me. :)

So, I’ll save the tales of the trip and funny anecdotes for the end of the week and simply sign off with a great big “Muchas Gracias!” to everyone.

Best,

Doug
